No professional account is accepted or rejected solely by an automated decision.<\/p>\n<p>When an intra-Community VAT number is provided, it can be checked with the European public service VIES. The result, date, and any reference number of the consultation are kept with the file and the order.<\/p>\n<p>If VIES indicates that the number is invalid, if the countries are inconsistent, or if the service is unavailable, VAT will still be charged. A manual verification may be performed.<\/p>\n<h2>6.
